The Throne of Angband by Brunild The Throne of Angband by Brunild
I was hoping to finish my Tauriel fan art, instead I finished this before.

Still a 'picture inspired by Black Silmarillion: Luthien dancing before Morgoth. I start by saying, for those who do not know, that in this story Melkor never wears a black armor and is not a giant monster. Here he is more like a man, or if you prefer, to an elf. I hope you enjoy my version :)

I like how you depict Melkor here.without his devilish armor and fearful eyes  i see him here as a beautiful angel.:) not an elf of course.

I see you keep drawing your beautiful Silmarillion scenes :) The black and white contrast is perfect.
Have you thought about drawing Melkor or Sauron in their other incarnations? Like Annatar, the Necromancer, Dagor Dagorath, before the Trees...
I also don't think that Melkor was ever intended to be a giant monster (it's pretty clear in Silmarillion that Valar and Maiar took the shapes of Eru's children). As for the black armour, he only wore it once in battle, really.

By the way, thanks for the review of my fanfic. Though I wouldn't be so hard on the Valar and their judgement; I mean, Melkor had been annoying as hell up to that point. They had surely more patience with him than what I would have. XD

Heh heh, thank you !  With regard to the patience of the Valar maybe you're right, but as you know I'm too biased! And I am only sorry that I not to be so good at English and that I must always use the google translator, otherwise I would have written a lot more about your fic, which is very nice! However these days I will continue to read because if I remember correctly continues ;)

Yes, actually I've already thought about it, but there are already too many representations around and I have not yet imagined Melkor and Sauron in this circumstance, of course talking about the canon.
Thanks again for
your kind comment and support !!Hug
